Ibiza Airport - Terminal

Ibiza’s Airport (IBZ) has just one Terminal for passengers. In Catalan called “Aeroport d’Eivissa”, in Spanish “Aeropuerto de Ibiza”, is the international airport of the Balearic Islands Ibiza and Formentera. As Ibiza is the most visited Balearic island and one of the top 10 European party destinations, it operates as the hub of Vueling during the turistic seasonal period, it is the most characteristic feature of this airport and of the island.

The history of IBZ Airport starts during the Spanish Civil War, when it was first established as a temporary military airport. Until the 60’s it was operated during some years, then closed during a period and reopened definetely in 1958, with the quickly development of the touristic market of the Balearic Islands. In the late 90’s Ibiza Airport was hosting and sending more than 3 million passengers per year.

The Terminal has 2 floors, floor 0 and floor 1. Within the Terminal of Ibiza Airport you can find various shops, cafés, restaurants, dutty free shops, VIP lounges, and several services such as:

- Currency exchange, cash machines and banks
- Business centre
- Medical care
- Post Office
- Internet access
- People with reduced mobility

You can also book in advance your parking place of also your car rental if you wish so.
